After the war of Mahabharata (the Hindu Epic), Yudhisthira (the eldest Pandava in the Hindu epic of Mahabharata) started ruling as king. Once, late at night, a beggar came to his door step and asked for donation. At that time King Yudhisthira was asleep. Queen Draupadi woke him up but he said, “I am very tired. Ask the beggar to wait till morning.
Tomorrow morning I will give him gold which equals his weight.” Draupadi told this to Bhima (one of the Pandava brothers) who was the guard on duty. When he heard this, he quickly went to the big bell which was on the roof of the palace. The bell was for ringing when King Yudhisthira would come back after winning a war.

Bhima started ringing this bell loudly without a stop! Listening to the bell, all the Padavas and the people in the kingdom gathered there to see King Yudhisthira returned from some great war. The bell kept ringing for a long time. In the end, King Yudhisthira also had to get up. Angrily he asked Bhima, "Why are you ringing the bell so late at night?” Bhima humbly replied, "This is because today you have acquired a big victory." [short motivational stories with moral]
Listening to this, King Yudhisthira was startled and asked, "What is this you are saying?” Bhima replied, "Yes brother, today you have won over time also. You said that tomorrow morning the beggar will get the donation. Now this declaration one can only give when he acquires victory over time.
