5 Things You Need to Start a Blog in 2021
How to start a new blog in 2021 | Blogging Tips for Beginners
Here i am going to tell you about the five important things which you need to know before starting a new website or a blog. I have two years of experience in blogging and till now I realize that how should someone start a new blog without making any hurry or a website without making those mistakes which i made in starting phase of blogging.
So the five important things to start a new blog are as-
1-An Email Address- First of all you need an mail address. An E-mail address which you do not use for your personal use. make at least two or three email Id and keep one Email for your personal use. whenever you want to start your new blog make sure you start it with a new email id according the name of your blog or name like which you will use in your domain name.
2-Display Name- Display name is different from you domain name. you can use your display name as your domain name only if there is no domain available for same name. Always make your display name catchy and attractive. Display is something which appears in top of your website. In blogspot.com or in bloggers web, display name appears at top of your main page and also in your every post. So make it catchy and attractive according what kind of blog you write.
3-Description- Description is something which describes about your blog. This is the second thing which appears below your display name as in blogspot.com . Always write something valuable and catchy in your description box. Prepare your description well before starting a new blog.
4-Domain name- Domain is everything for your blog. Always make your mind for two or three domain name according to your blog and write them down in your notepad before making a new blog. Sometime the domain name (free or paid) which best suits for your site already registered by someone else because there are lots of people & lots of blogs so finding a unique name is always a problem. So write every domain name which you think best suits for your blog. Sometime in first attempt you will get your domain name of your choice but in some cases you will not. So here doing some home work before starting is always good.
5- A little knowledge about blogging- Knowledge is always helpful. If you are a beginner and does not know much about blogging and blogging platform. So you need to do some research for it. The best thing is that you will find everything in YouTube, with practices. So before making a new blog make sure that you know enough about blogging & how it works. and also search about the best blogging platforms both paid & free.
Some other important things as "About you" Section & Profile picture. When you make you a blog you are the admin and also the author of your blog. So you have to write some good words about yourself in "About you" section by which people will know who you are and what you really do. Next is, a Profile Picture/Display Picture, this little thing is not as important because you can put your own photo as profile picture either you can make a new one by yourself.
So these are the important things which I found that everyone should have to know about that before starting a new blog or web. See I am using a blogspot.com domain, this information is according to that in your case it can be differ if you are using some other platform then blogger.
