Inspirational Life Story of Mother Teresa:

There are many people around the world who live only for themselves. Today, it is very difficult to meet people who feel pain in the pain of others, who do not sleep in the suffering of others. Today we are going to tell you about such a person whose name will make your heart calm and happy. A clean, serene and calm face will emerge in your eyes. The name of that great soul is 'Mother Teresa'. A woman who devoted her entire life to the poor, helpless and homeless people. Today we will tell you the life story of Mother Teresa, how she struggled and still lives in everyone's heart after leaving the world.

Mother Teresa was born on 26 August 1910 in Skopje. Her father Nikola Boyaju was an ordinary businessman and his mother Drana Boyaju was a housewife. Mother Teresa's real name was Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu and in Albanian language Gonxha means 'flower bud'. And it would not be wrong to say that Mother Teresa made people's life fragrant with the fragrance of love by becoming flowers throughout her life. But her own life was struggling from childhood.

Her father died at the age of just eight and since then the responsibility of her and her siblings had fallen on the shoulders of her mother Drana Boyaju. Mother Teresa was fond of reading as well as singing and used to sing with her sister in a nearby church and she also started teaching in a school. At the age of 12, the age at which most children spend all their time playing, at that age Mother Teresa realized that her life is meant to serve the people.

Mother Teresa's life journey:

He left home to join the Irish nuns community at just 18 years of age with a sense to serve the people. After training in Dublin Ireland, She approached the 'Sister of Loreto'. Where she was named Mother Teresa after the name of St. Teresa of Lisieus. Mother Teresa arrived at the Loreto Convent in Calcutta from Ireland on 6 January 1929 and worked as a teacher.

Seeing her discipline and loyalty towards studies, She was soon promoted to the post of Head Mistress. She was a very good teacher and all the students loved her very much. But he was disturbed by the poverty and helplessness around her. The famine in 1943 and the 1946 Hindu Muslim riots took away many lives and left many people injured, destitute, homeless and sick. This incident broke Mother Teresa from inside.

Establishment of Missionaries of Charity:

After this incident Mother Teresa had decided to dedicate her whole life to the helpless and poor. She then returned to Calcutta again in 1948 after completing the required nursing training in Patna and started serving the elderly and helpless people there. For Mother Teresa the initial phase was quite difficult because at that time she had left a comfortable life of nuns and now she had no income and even had to ask for help from others to feed her but she never gave up and continued to serve people with a selfless heart.

On 7 October 1950, She received permission to establish the Missionaries of Charity in Vatican City. The main objective of this organization was to help the hungry, poor, blind, people suffering from skin diseases, which had no importance in the society. Missionaries of Charity started with just 13 people and at the time of Mother Teresa's death (1997) more than 4 thousand people joined it, who are serving people selflessly.

The Government of India gave Mother Teresa citizenship of India in the year 1947 for her service to the people and for her significant contribution to India. And you will be surprised to know that Mother Teresa has been given citizenship not only of India but also of 4 other countries. But unfortunately after a prolonged heart disease, in 1997, she said goodbye to the world forever.
