Who does not know Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev. Baba Ramdev has made many people healthy with yoga. Baba Ramdev took Yoga to every door and brought the name of India to light all over the world. Today, the son of a poor farmer is such a big business tycoon who has a business of more than 10000 crores.

Baba Ramdev's Childhood:
Baba Ramdev was born in village Ali Syedpur in Haryana. His father was a farmer and his economic condition was very bad. Baba Ramdev wanted to study, but he did not even have the money to study, due to which he had to leave his studies in the middle. Baba Ramdev used to read books by borrowing from his friends. He spent much of his time working in the fields with his father.
Interest in Yoga:
Baba Ramdev had said in one of his interview that he used to be very fat and sick earlier, due to which his friends used to tease him. After that he decided to change himself and started attending the camp in the village. From here, his attention shifted towards yoga.
Dedicated in Yoga:
Having an interest in yoga since childhood, he went to Acharya Pradyumna and Yogacharya Baldev Ji to learn Sanskrit and Yoga in a Gurukul of Khanpur (Haridwar). After spending a few years in Gurukal, he moved from there to the Himalayas and after staying there for a few years came to Haridwar. It was here that he decided to become a monk and learned yoga while living in the ashram of his guru Shankardev Maharaj. He started teaching yoga to people from there and he used to make medicines from home and sell them on the streets of Haridwar by bicycle. Baba Ramdev took over the 'Divya Yoga Trust' due to deteriorating health of Guru Sankardeva, during which he used to organize a yoga camp. His friends Balkrishna and Karmaveer supported him and are still working with him today.
Baba Ramdev initially took his yoga camp to the masses through TV. Gradually, big leaders started coming to his camp and his yoga started becoming prevalent. After being successful in yoga, Baba Ramdev started the herb business. With this, Baba Ramdev also started making Ayurvedic medicine in his ashram. The aim of his trust was to spread yoga and Ayurveda to the common people. In the year 1995, Patanjali was registered as a company. The registration fee of the Patanjali Company was just Rs 13000 but at that time Baba Ramdev did not even have that much money, he had only Rs 3500 and the rest of the money was collected by Baba Ramdev and his friend Balkrishna. In 2006, Divya Yoga Trust became the second Patanjali Yogpeeth Trust. In addition to the hospital, Yoga Research Center, University and Ayurvedic Pharmacy, this Yogpeeth also has food parks and cosmetic manufacturing.
In just 5 years, Patanjali has become the largest indigenous brand company from Ayurvedic company, which is extraordinary in itself. According to a recent survey by global research firm Ipsos, Patanjali is ranked fourth among the top 10 influential brands in India. And it is not normal that Patanjali has overtaken India's largest bank SBI, giant telecom company Airtel and Jio as well as e-retailer Flipkart. Today Patanjali makes everything from household items to medicines. Today Yoga has taken a new dimension in every household. Many people have got new life from yoga learned by Baba Ramdev. And many people have started organizing small free yoga camps inspired by Baba Ramdev.
